Please make plans to join Mother Karen for Ash Wednesday services on February 26 at 12:00 noon and at 6:00 p.m. Ash Wednesday is a Christian holy day of prayer, fasting, and repentance and the first day of Lent. Ash Wednesday derives its name from the placing of repentance ashes on the foreheads of participants to either the words, “Repent, and believe in the Gospel”, or the dictum, “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return”. Both Ash Wednesday services will include the imposition of ashes.
