The K-Count for Scott County is Jan. 31st.
From Elizabeth’s Village “K-Count is an annual event that the Kentucky Housing Corporation conducts to monitor the homeless situation in the state. This count will help keep homeless prevention services up to date and provide resources. The count date is set for Wednesday, January 31st.
This year’s K-Count is being conducted by Kandice Whitehouse’s Office of Affordable Housing and Homeless Prevention with the city of Georgetown. We are partnering with them to pack the bags (at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church) and host the dinner (at Georgetown Baptist Church) the night of the count.

AT HOLY TRINITY:
The Sack Pack will be at Holy Trinity again this year, Jan. 30, 2-4:00 in the Parish Hall.
We are collecting deodorant and soap for men and women who are homeless. Please bring deodorant and soap to church on Sunday or drop off at the Parish Hall during the week. We need 100 sticks of deodorant and 100 bars of soap. Deadline Jan. 29th. |
