Season of Creation Sept 1 – Oct 4

This fall, Holy Trinity will participate in the Season of Creation for the first time. Observed each year from September 1 through October 4, the Season of Creation is a worldwide, ecumenical celebration that brings Christians from many traditions together in prayer, worship, and care for God’s creation.

This year’s theme is Living Water, inviting us to reflect on the gift of water throughout Scripture, its importance to all life, and our responsibility to care for the earth and one another.

Beginning Sunday, September 6, you will notice some new prayers and other small changes to our worship. These will come from a Season of Creation celebration guide approved for use in the Episcopal Church. The basic shape of our Sunday service will remain familiar, while these additions will help focus our worship on God’s creation and our place within it.

We hope this season will deepen our gratitude for the world God has made and help us consider how we can faithfully care for it. Explore more resources and online events at seasonofcreation.org
